Here's a few shots of the rattler we stumbled across while (unsucessfully) looking for a place to go fish. He looks to be a mid-size Timber Rattler.



More on the whole trip later. Let's just say I'm getting a bit too old and cantankerous for this stuff...

What awesome photos! In fact, the first one looks like he is smiling at the camera for you! I won't look at this before I go hiking on Wed. though! lol
Fasinating photos. You either have a great zoom on your camera or you are one brave lady. Hope it is the first.
